As part of its main work, BFA is involved in the financial design of carbon offsetting projects.  Carbon offsetting has direct benefits for the environment as well as potentially helping to reduce poverty.  For this reason and the natural synergies with microfinace BFA is looking to get ever more involved in carbon offsetting projects.
